The Honors Program is an academic program designed for the needs and interests of academically advanced and motivated students.
Starting Spring 2017, the Honors Option will allow students to earn honors credit in courses not specifically designated as “Honors.” It is activated when a professor and student draw up an agreement specifying work the student should do to earn honors credit. The professor, student, and honors director sign the contract, and upon successful completion, the student receives an “Honors” designation on his or her transcript.
