Professional Culinarian Concentration and Baking and Pastry Concentration
A long standing program that has produced some of the state’s finest chefs, the A.A.S. degree is a 2-year, in-depth program that prepares you for variety of professional careers in the fast-paced and exciting food preparation industry. Classes are both lecture and hands-on. Upon successful completion, you will have earned a number of industry-based certifications form the National Restaurant Association and from the American Culinary Federation, all of which you can include in your professional portfolio.
All students will study a group of core common courses, and then, based on ambition, branch out into their chosen concentrations. There are even specialized opportunities for both culinary and baking and pastry electives so that you can study areas of particular interest to you.
