Architectural Design/Construction Technology
The Architectural/Design Construction Technology Program trains students in design and construction of homes, schools, commercial, industrial, and public buildings and community projects. Other beneficial subjects students may be interested in, include the upkeep, repair, modification, renovation, restoration, and modernization of existing buildings.
Upon completion, students will graduate with the skillful knowledge to produce drawings for building infrastructures as well as supervise and inspect construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Graduates of the Architectural/Design Construction Technology Program have moved on to work as technical management personnel for architects, engineers, design-builders, developers, general contractors, and even government employees. With the training received from this program, graduates can run their own businesses and practice as licensed home builders, contractors, remodelers, and architectural designers and builders.
The degree program of Architectural/Design Construction Technology offered at Delgado is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering.
