The Charity Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association has donated $10,000 as the private match for endowed scholarship funds for nursing students at the Delgado Community College Charity School of Nursing. This private match will be used to apply for a $10,000 public match from the Louisiana Board of Regents Support Fund, which has a specific scholarship matching program for endowed scholarships for nursing, resulting in $20,000 in total endowed funds. The endowed scholarship will be the Joyce Bonaventure Leissner and Jim Leissner Charity Alumni Scholarship in memory of their children Nathan and Laura.

The Delgado Community College Alumni Association has donated $30,000 as the private match for an endowed scholarship fund for first-generation students at Delgado. This private match will be used to apply for a $20,000 public match from the Louisiana Board of Regents Support Fund, which has a specific scholarship matching program for endowed scholarships for first-generation students. This is the second time the Delgado Alumni Association has made a contribution for this purpose. Thus, the total endowment will be $50,000 and will be named the Delgado Alumni Association First-Generation Student Scholarship II.

The Delgado Community College Alumni Association donated $5,000 to the Delgado Foundation to help fund the STEM Academy, a summer program that educates middle and high school students in various sciences. The Delgado Alumni Association presented a $5000 check to the Delgado GAP fund to purchase books for students in need.
