TOMMY TAYLOR

SPORTS INFORMATION OFFICER

Tommy Taylor has been a member of the Delgado Athletic Staff since January 2008. As Sports Information Officer, Taylor's responsibilities include the gathering of DCC team news and sports information and preparing that information to be distributed to the various media outlets throughout the metro area, as well as to the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Taylor has 33 years of teaching experience, 30 spent working with the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and is currently working in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. He has 25 years experience as a part-time sports correspondent at the New Orleans Times Picayune newspaper mainly covering and reporting high school sports events.

Taylor and his wife Gayle have rebuilt their home following Hurricane Katrina and live in Lakeview near Delgado's City Park Campus.
