It is a pleasure to welcome you to the School of Nursing at Delgado Community College in New Orleans.  CSN is a special place with a proud history and tradition.

The mission of the Nursing School is:  CSN prepares students of varied backgrounds in a learning centered environment to provide caring and competent nursing in entry level positions to meet the health care needs of a diverse community.  Our graduates are renowned for their excellent patient care.  Students obtain nursing experience in clinical agencies throughout the southeast Louisiana region.

The nursing school has an associate degree, R.N. program, and a practical nursing program; each admits twice a year.  Additionally, a Nursing Success course is offered to potential students for a glimpse into the profession.  An R.N. Refresher course is available for nurses interested in returning to the workforce.   

Charity School of Nursing is a vibrant place to learn, to teach and to work.  It is a place where the learning environment invites all to excel and where patient centered care is fostered.
