Faculty Professional Development

Continuing education programs are one method to maintain and expand nursing knowledge and expertise.  The DCC-CSN professional development programs are offered to faculty routinely throughout the year.  Faculty directs the selection of topics and speakers through the Faculty Development Committee.  Recent short topics addressed articulation needs of associate degree graduates, training to implement Tegrity capture of classroom presentations and preparation for certification as an educator.  Recent   half and full day programs have presented topics in test item writing skills, and technology.
