RN Re-Admits

Attention RN Students

If you wish to re-apply to the Nursing program, please adhere to the following deadlines:

Students out of the program less than 3 semesters:
FALL         application deadline March 15th 
SPRING    application deadline October 15th

Students out of the program more than 3 semesters:

A student who has completed NURS 112 and has been out of the program for 3 or more semesters, but less than 3 years (6 semesters) and is requesting to enroll in NURS 122, must re-enroll in NURS 112 and begin the program again.

A student who has been out of the program for 3 or more semesters, but less than 3 years (6 semesters) and is requesting to re-enroll in NURS 219, 221 or 232, must complete a special topics course.  Students who do not successfully complete the special topics course may not enroll in the next nursing course in the curriculum.

If a student has been out of the nursing program for 3 or more years, he/she must re-apply to the nursing program, and progress through the admissions process/curriculum as a new student. 

FALL         application deadline October 15th
SPRING     application deadline May 1st

Please Note:
Any returning student who cannot complete the program in 5 years from the original date of enrollment in a nursing course must apply through the admissions office as a new applicant.  The student who meets the current admission requirements will be placed in the pool of applicants for the next available beginning class.  The student's previous record of W's, D's, and F's will apply.
