          TEAS-RN Admissions Exam
       Test of Essential Academic Skills

PROCEDURES

All students applying to the Delgado Charity School of Nursing RN Program are required to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). TEAS-RN test results must be included in the DCC-Charity School of Nursing application packet for consideration. The TEAS-RN Exam measures Reading Comprehension, Math Skills, Science and English Skills. Registration for the test is scheduled on a first come first serve basis. It lasts 4 hrs.

TEAS Registration Instructions

  • Obtain a TEAS-RN Payment & Registration Form (PRF) from the Charity School of Nursing, City Park or West Bank campus.
  • Complete the TEAS-RN Payment & Registration Form.
  • Take the completed PRF Slip to the Bursar?s Office on the City Park, West Bank or School of Nursing campus.
  •  Pay the $ 50 test fee.
  • Have Bursar stamp paid on both PRF form and receipt.
  • Return stamped PRF Form & receipt to Testing Center on City Park or West Bank campus only.
  • Receive TEAS-RN Test Admit Slip by mail or in person.
  •  Arrive at exam 30 minutes early with 2 forms of proper ID with signatures (i.e., Louisiana driver?s license, school ID, social security card, Military ID), receipt, and your admit slip noting the specified location, time, date and seat number.
  • No electronic devices or personal items allowed at test.

 No substitutions, cancellations, refunds or rescheduling.

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
The DCC TEAS-RN can only be taken twice. Examinees must wait 6 months to re-test.
