Curriculum

The Veterinary Technology Program is a full time, five semester Associate of Applied Science program. The Program admits one class per year, beginning in the fall semester. At the successful completion of the Program, students will receive an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and be eligible to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE), which will qualify them as Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT’s) in the state of Louisiana.
