Award to Cafe Reconcile Student Attending Delgado
The Delgado Community College Foundation awarded to Chef Joron Smith with the Café Reconcile program a check to purchase equipment to assist him in maintaining his status as a student at the college. Funds from the Roast of the Town have been used, in part, to advance the students that come from this program. It has been the desire of the Foundation to promote the program at Café Reconcile and the educational opportunities that are available through the Culinary Arts Program at Delgado and its delivery of skill sets that enhance the restaurant and hospitality industry in our region.
