Foundation Board Legislative Luncheon

        Recently, the Delgado Foundation sponsored the Annual Legislative Luncheon giving Delgado leadership and Foundation Board members the opportunity to meet with our Southeastern region legislators representing the Greater New Orleans 10-parish region  the college serves.  Delgado Chancellor Ron Wright, Ph.D., and the Delgado Foundation Board made a presentation to attending legislators regarding the issues relevant to the college’s recovery, expansion and vision, including the critical importance of State budget funding and its impact on our future.  Legislators who attended the luncheon were: Jeffery Arnold, Austin Badon, Robert Billiot, Jared Brossett, Karen Carter Petersen, Greg Cromer, Reed Henderson, Charles  Henry (on behalf of Steve Scalise), Girod Jackson III, John Labruzzo, Anthony Ligi, Joseph Lopinto, Nick Lorusso, Laverne Saulney (on behalf of Mary Landrieu), John Schroder, Ricky Templet, Luke Theriot (on behalf of Charlie Melancon) and Fred Trowerier (on         behalf of Conrad Appel).
