The Office of Testing & Assessment is a premiere world class testing service center. Its goal is to meet the assessment needs of students, community members, and business affiliates throughout the region. The primary function of the office is to administer the placement and Ability to benefit exams to recommend student course placement and ability to benefit from a post secondary education. Tests are administered on state of the art computers using today’s technology to properly assess in a secure testing environment conducive to success.

The Testing Center is a comprehensive testing site and ACT Center offering a host of testing services that include: academic, professional and career assessments administered year round to over 12,000 examinees per year.  

A broad range of certification competencies and college credit exams are also administered in areas of trade, transportation and technology equipping students with credentials needed for today’s competitive job market. The Delgado Office of Testing continues to work in partnership with ACT, Pearson Vue, Lasergrade, ETS testing and training services to address student’s employment needs.

To reinforce and supplement student learning the center  offers numerous computerized assessments, career guidance programs, e-test preparations and study guides to assist  in the attainment of  personal, academic or professional goals.

The Office of Testing & Assessment accommodates and serves students with limited English skills and those who have documented disabilities. The option of paper/pencil exams is also available on test day. The Testing Center is open to fulfill your testing needs toward your future goals.
