Office of Testing
ACT RESIDUAL

The Office of Testing offers the ACT Residual exams to first-time, full time Delgado students. All first-time students under the age of 25 are required to provide the college with ACT test scores that are no more than 3years old.

For those who do not have current ACT scores and who must fulfill this requirement the Office of Testing administers the ACT Residual. The ACT Residual is given on a regular basis in the Testing Center for a nominal fee and pre-registration is required. The test last a minimum of 4 ½ hours. Because the ACT Residual is the national ACT exam administered locally, the test scores are only valid at Delgado Community College and therefore are not transferable. Students are admitted provisionally until Admissions requirements are met.

The ACT National Examination packets are available in the Office of Testing.

Students may also refer to www.act.org/compass/sample/index.html for sample test questions.

There are two ways to register for the ACT Residual.
