Photographs from throughout our past provide a fascinating look at where we began and how we have evolved.  For instance, you may run across a photo of the college’s first day of school, or a group photo of the first faculty.  Many of these photos are untitled and undated, but details may help identify their era and significance.  Many of these photos were saved from an archival mezzanine area of the old Moss Memorial Library, which was demolished in 2010 in preparation of a new library facility.  The Moss Memorial Library was located on the City Park Campus and was heavily damaged in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina’s floodwaters.  The photos survived and until now have been seen by few.  They are presented here for viewing by anyone interested in Delgado’s history.  If you have any information about any of the unidentified photos it would be especially helpful if you could pass it along to us.  Email dcc90@dcc.edu.  Photos provided by other sources will be so noted.

Have a picture to share?  Please send it, along with a description and date (if available) for possible inclusion in our Image Gallery or let us know if we can assist you in scanning it.  Email dcc90@dcc.edu.  All photos submitted are subject to review and approval prior to posting.
