Students are provisionally admitted to Delgado Community College and have 30 days after the semester begins to submit a high School or GED transcript and proof of immunization to Admissions Office.  If you are a graduate of a Louisiana high school, May 2003 and after, and if your school uses the Student Transcript System, you are not required to submit a high school transcript.  However, if you graduated from a Louisiana high school prior to May 2003 or from a non-Louisiana high school  or have a GED , you must submit an official high school or GED to the Admission Office.

Note: Students who plan to receive federal financial assistance must ensure that high school or GED transcripts and proof of immunization have been received by the Admission Office.

Proof of registration with the military selective service is required for male applicants between the ages of 18 and 25 (in compliance with State Law R.S. 17:3151). Register now with selective service at www.sss.gov.

A Delgado placement test is required unless your ACT scores are less than 3 years old and indicate you have an 18 or better in English and math a 17 or better in the reading. If your ACT scores exempt you from taking a placement assessment, you must still schedule a STAR session. During the STAR session, you will be advised for a class schedule.
