Transfer Student Admissions Steps
Step 1: Apply for admission
Step 2: Schedule classes online through LoLA, Delgado's student self-serve portal (if you have never used the portal, follow the directions for first-time users). You must register in-person for classes that have co-requisites or pre-requisites. Bring an official or unofficial copy of transcript(s) from all previously attended colleges to your academic advisor. An official transcript and proof of immunization are needed by the Office of Admissions to fulfill admission requirements.
Step 3: Secure classes. Classes can be secured by using federal financial assistance, paying in full, or by enrolling into Delgado's payment plan. If you plan to use federal financial aid to secure classes, you must have accepted an award letter or have submitted all required financial aid documents to the Financial Aid Office by the appropriate deadlines.
Delgado Placement Assessment is required in English and math if the applicant has not completed college-level English and math courses within the last three years. Click here for more information.
