FINANCIAL AID

The Delgado Community College Office of Student Financial Assistance participates in the FFLEP (Federal Family Education Loan Program) program. If you are interested in applying for a loan, you must indicate “yes” on the Delgado application for financial assistance (section 9) of the University application.

Your loan will be electronically certified and transmitted to the lender you have selected. Our comprehensive lenders lists consist of lenders used by Delgado students and parents in the last three (3) years.  

Delgado Community College DOES NOT endorse any particular lender. Therefore, you can select a lender from the comprehensive list below or you can select any lender of your choice. 

 

If you are a first time borrower or transfer student at Delgado you must complete a Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Interview. This process can take place through www.mappingyourfuture.org. Also, if you are a first time borrower or changing your lender, you will be required to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) as well.
