Scholarships
Honors Scholarship Criteria:
- A graduate from a Louisiana state approved high school
- Home school applicants must have completed a Louisiana approved or regionally accredited program.
- ACT Composite score of 22 and GPA 3.00 on a 4.00 scale OR
ACT Composite score of 20 and GPA 3.50 on a 4.00 scale - Reference Verification Form (completed by counselor, teacher, or principal)
- Placement into college level courses (excluding Developmental Students and ESL courses)
Academic Scholarship Criteria:
- A graduate from a Louisiana state approved high school
- Home school applicants must have completed a Louisiana approved or regionally accredited program.
- ACT Composite score of 20
- GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
- Reference Verification Form (completed by counselor, teacher, or principal)
Leadership Scholarship Criteria:
- A graduate from a Louisiana state approved high school
- Home school applicants must have completed a Louisiana approved or regionally accredited program
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills (e.g. student government, school paper editor, club officer, sports, choir, community organizations, etc)
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale
- Reference Verification Form (completed by counselor, teacher, or principal)
Adult Learner Criteria:
- Must have high school diploma, GED, or passing score on Ability to Benefit Assessment
- Must have been out of high school for at least 5 years
- Have never attended a regionally accredited college or university
- Reference Verification Form (completed by employer, teacher, or community agency representative)
Music Scholarship Criteria (City Park Campus only):
- A graduate from a Louisiana state approved high school
- Home school applicants must have completed a Louisiana approved or regionally accredited program
- ACT score and GPA of 3.5 on a 4.00 scale
- Reference Verification form (completed by counselor, teacher, or principal)
