What are the jobs at Delgado that are considered Civil Service jobs?
Please refer to the Classified Positions chart.
What are the tests for behavioral and office skills?
These are part of the QUEST initiative. The tests are numbered 7000 Behavior Assessment and 7001 Office Skills. The Typing Test is 7002.
Where do the scores of 80% and 70% come from?
These are the scores that Delgado plans to use as minimum requirements. They may be revised, depending on the applicant pool that results.
Do the posting vacancies time frames we are using come from Civil Service Guidelines?
Yes, Civil Service requires that jobs be posted at least one (1) calendar week. However, the Department may request to have the job posted for a longer period of time.
Delgado's Interim Quest Guidelines state that a Department can use the same applicant pool within a 60 day period. Is this a Civil Service standard?
Yes, the 60 day standard is part of the Civil Service QUEST initiative. After a job vacancy has been posted, if another vacancy for the same job title occurs in the same Department, we can use the same pool of applicants - if an appointment can be made within 60 days of the closing date of the original announcement.
