The mission of the Human
Resources Department is to support the College's mission, goals,
and objectives by providing guidance and support to our
community.
Purpose
By fulfilling this mission, we:
Recruit a diverse workforce that is supportive of Delgado
Community College's mission, goals, and objectives, as well as
skilled, dedicated, and collegial
Recommend and administer benefits programs that fulfill the
needs of the majority of employees.
Assist
in recruiting and retaining qualified faculty and staff
members.
Maintain staff records to provide management with reports for
information and decision-making.
Provide training and development programs that will help
Delgado Community College employees to function effectively in
the workplace.
Provide counsel and make sound recommendations on employee
relations issues.
