In adherence to the Louisiana Office of Technology Services Information Security Policy, all of the replacement computers installed as part of the college-wide computer replacement initiative come equipped with Microsoft Office 2016 and the Windows 10 operating system which requires users to encrypt electronic media using BitLocker before files can be saved to it. Phase I of the college wide Computer Replacement Project is now complete at all Delgado locations. Phase II is scheduled to begin during the spring 2017 term and will encompass installation of the remaining (168) computers as well as laptop replacements for designated faculty and staff. Collegewide WiFi Upgrade Project
All locations have been fully upgraded with exception of Sidney Collier which is 50% complete. The next phase of the project entails the installation of outside antennas at City Park, Westbank and the Jefferson Site. Stay tuned for further announcements.
