Delgado Community College and its Foundation are pleased to offer eligible students a great opportunity!
The GAP Textbook Assistance Program is funded by personal contributions from the College’s faculty and staff, as well as through fundraising efforts of the foundation. GAP funds are provided to eligible students to assist with the cost of textbooks. Out-of-state and International students who meet the criteria are also eligible.
Students must meet the established criteria to be considered, so please do not apply otherwise. The deadline to submit an online application is 4:30pm on Friday, January 18, 2013. The funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. If we exceed the available funding the application process will be closed. Eligible students must:
· Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA
· Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours
· Be in good Academic Standing, Judicial Standing, and meet the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Policy
· Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for spring 2013 semester at the time they apply
Eligible and interested students must complete the Gap Scholarship Application. Selected students will be notified via email or by phone no later than Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Award letters MUST be picked up from an office on your campus/site no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 and brought to the bookstore by Friday, January 25, 2013.
