STUDENT LIFE CENTER

Delgado Community College's Student Life Center is a 43,000 square foot complex which provides a central location for students to socialize and participate in leisure activities. The facility includes a food court with Quiznos (Coming Soon), Internet cafe, student lounge, Duplicator copy center, and a Dolphin Card Center. The second floor features a ballroom and a number of other meeting rooms for academic presentations, social functions and other gatherings.

The Student Life Center offers on-site catering for all events, from sandwiches for a committee meeting to a banquet feast. And, the availability of quality audio/visual equipment enhances any function.

STUDENT AMENITIES

Delgado's Student Life Center is the hub of student life activity at the City Park Campus. Students, faculty, and guests are provided with a number of options to enhance their on-campus experience.

Vieux Carre Cafe - The aptly named food court has a seating capacity of 350 and offers the latest in campus dining. Choose from a variety of cuisines including New Orleans' style cooking and Quiznos' subs (Coming Soon).

Koffee & Keyboards - The Internet cafe provides students with a place to enjoy Starbucks Coffee and Wi-Fi access to the information superhighway making it easy for YOU to stay connected with the rest of the world. The cafe features light fare such as pastries, soups, salads and convenience items.

The Duplicator - The business service center is a place for students and visitors to attend to photocopying, faxing and related projects. The facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment.

Semester Break - Students can enjoy the beautiful park-like setting of the complex from the student lounge for informal gatherings and individual solitude.

Dolphin's Den - For the "kid" in all of us, the game room features video games and pool tables. An ID is required for admission.

Dolphin Card Center - This facility provides a convenient location for students to obtain lD's and other information.

CONFERENCE CENTER

The second floor of the Student Life Center features a conference center composed of a grand ballroom and a number of other rooms in varying sizes to accommodate most any group. The facility is available for Delgado sponsored activities and for use by students, faculty and staff, alumni, non-profit and service organizations.

The conference center features in-house catering, audio/visual equipment, wireless internet access, security, and special set-up arrangements to ensure that each event is successful and memorable.

Lac Pontchartrain Ballroom - 5,000 sq. ft. of continuous space can accommodate 500 in a seated configuration and up to 600 for a social function.

Bayou St. John, Bayou Signette and Bayou Lafourche - These three meeting rooms are each 1,665 sq. ft. and have a lecture capacity of 120.

Bayou Blue and Bayou Savage - These conference rooms can comfortably accommodate a group of 12 in a boardroom setting.

Lac Maurepas - This 2,400 sq. ft. room features panoramic views of the Delgado campus and a balcony. The spacious room is the perfect setting for catered functions, accommodating 120 for seated events.
