Degree: Associate of Science


The primary objective of the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Technology program is to prepare graduates with the technical and managerial skills necessary to enter careers in the design, application, installation, manufacturing, operation and/or maintenance of electrical/electronic(s) systems, and the building, testing, operation and maintenance of existing electrical/electronic(s) systems. All courses in the ELET program consist of theory and laboratory applications.

ELET graduates will.....

display technical competency and be engaged in the analysis, synthesis and problem solving/troubleshooting of electrical/electronics systems.

display professionalism in their work and ethics. will be effective written/oral communicators and team members and will be prepared to pursue lifelong learning in their profession.

be prepared to continue their academic pursuits of baccalaureate degree, to enter the workforce as engineering technicians in various areas including instrumentation/process control, electrical power and electronics and the assume technical and managerial leadership role throughout their career.

Courses may be transferred to a four-year institutions that offer a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology.
