Civil Construction Technology deals with the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, harbors, and airports, as well as drainage, water supply systems and environmental health systems.

- The Civil Construction Technology program at Delgado Community College prepares students for jobs in these areas. The types of work involved include the planning of project specifications, cost estimates, surveying, mapping and inspection of these kinds of projects. Earnings potential is good with average wages ranging from $13 to $18 per hour.

Delgado's Civil Construction Technology program prepares you directly for the job market. Many students complete the program and transfer these credits to a four-year institution for continued studies in Engineering.
