If you entered the U.S. on a student visa and plan to attend Delgado, your application for admission must be received by April 15 for the following summer session, July 1 for fall session, and November 15 for spring session.

RECORDS NEEDED FOR REGISTRATION

An applicant wanting to be admitted on a student visa must submit the following documents before Form I-20 can be issued. ·

•A completed application form signed by the applicant. All questions must be answered.

• A non-refundable application fee of $25

• A notarized Statement of Financial Support to show evidence of sufficient funds to cover all costs while studying in the U.S.

• Proof of immunization, if born after 1956, on the Delgado Proof of Immunization form.

• An official transcript from the last school attended (see "Foreign Transcript Evaluation" in the college catalog) Non-degree seeking students enrolling only in the ESL program are not required to submit transcripts.

International students whose first language is not English must take the English Language Proficiency Test. Exceptions to the test require a score of 173 on computer based TOEFL (500)paper test, or 61 internet based) and sufficient proficiency in writing.
