Placement Tests

All new and transferring non-native English speaking students must report to the Office of Testing and Assessment in building 10, room 125 and make an appointment with Stewart Atkins or call him at (504)671-5084 to take the ESL Proficiency Test.

International (F-1) students must also bring to the Office of Admissions, your passport, I-94 card and I-20 copy when you first arrive on campus.

Test duration: approximately 3 hours

NOTE:  Bring your fee receipt with you

You will be scheduled for classes during registration using the results of the test.
