Honors Program
Special Activities:
The Delgado Honors Program offers activities outside the classroom throughout the semester. These activities offer students the opportunity to participate in cultural and educational activities both on campus and off campus. Some of these activities include:
- The Honors Council, open to all students in the Honors Program, provides opportunities for leadership and service. Meets once a month.
- The Delgado Honors Quiz Bowl team competes against teams from universities throughout Louisiana. The Quiz Bowl Contest is part of the annual Conference of the Louisiana Collegiate Honors Council hosted by various colleges and universities throughout the state.
- Frequent trips are sponsored by the Honors Program. See Upcoming Events for the Honors Program fall calendar of events.
- The Honors Program sponsors forums and lectures throughout the academic year on various topics.
- The Honors Program works closely with the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on a variety of programs.
