Sandra Prince-Madison,

Assistant Professor of Psychology

 

 
Sandra Prince-Madison received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  She has studied at Southern University of New Orleans and Tulane University.  Her research interests are the psychological impact of racism on education and the American culture, particularly related to the African-American experience.  Ms. Prince-Madison, along with her colleague Dr. Eric Gamble, was instrumental in developing a Psychology of Prejudice course which has received rave reviews from students and staff.  She was instrumental in the development of the lecture series program at Delgado Community College that emphasizes career development and research awareness.  She has taught the following courses: Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, Human Growth & Development, General Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology.
