WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Delgado Community College is designed for entrepreneurs who demonstrate a commitment to growing their business and:
- Are the owner or co-owner of the business
- Have been in operation for at least two years
- Generate revenues between $150,000 and $4.0 million in the most recent fiscal year
- Employ at least four employees (full-time, part-time, or contract), including themselves
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
In order to receive maximum benefit from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses education curriculum, business owners accepted into the program:
Attend a mandatory program orientation
Participate in 11 pre-scheduled learning sessions
Commit an additional 6–8 hours per week of out-of-class time to work on program-related activities, including completing assignments, attending networking events, and participating in business support clinics
Develop a tailored plan for growth prior to graduation
