WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Lean Manufactoring Certification Programs

Every company, public or private, has to be concerned with creating value. Every organization, whether for-profit or not-for profit, needs to minimize waste. The main success factor of lean implementation is the motivation of the plant managers to apply lean principles in their plant to create value for their customers. Develop your people by getting them to solve problems rigorously in the lean way, so they learn about their processes. Create an environment of change by rewarding those who implement lean. Run successful pilots to prove that lean efforts can produce major improvements. Use visible and commonly-understood metrics of success that apply to each step of the value stream. At the end of the day, lean is about sustaining growth of the enterprise, in revenues, in earnings, and in cash flow.
