Deborah Anderson earned a B.S. degree in Multidisciplinary Studies (Film/Computer Graphics/Art) from Rochester Institute of Technology and has been working with Autodesk Maya for 7 years. She has taught graphics and animation to students ranging from 5 to 18 years old. Deborah had the opportunity of living abroad, in South Korea, where she taught English to middle school and high school girls. While in Korea, she also worked as a CG Artist at Digital eMation where she worked on television shows such as Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, The Lebrons, and Scooby Doo and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Royd Anderson specializes in creating documentary films. His most recent documentary, about Pan Am Flight 759, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim within the region. Royd earned his M.S. degree in Communication from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and has taught courses on the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels.
Ben Balser conducts training across the United States and is the only Apple Certified Master Trainer within Louisiana. Ben produces educational material for macProVideo.com and Moviola.com, writes for VideoMaker magazine, runs the Louisiana Cajun Cutters Final Cut Pro Users Group, and produces independent and commercial video, audio, and motion graphic productions. Ben also runs the website FCPro X University.
Will Blanke has been a dedicated screenwriter for the last 10 years and is presently directing his own feature film. He is currently earning his M.F.A. in Screenwriting at the University of New Orleans. Will has also taught English courses at Delgado Community College for the past year.
Christopher Boudy, Sr.
Christopher Boudy's passion for technology started at a very young age and has now spilled over into all areas of his life. He has worked in the web development field for more than nine years, implementing large-scale website projects and helping start-ups and large organizations develop web strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology.
Travis Callahan earned his B.F.A. in Interactive Design and Game Development from the Savannah College of Art and Design and his B.F.A. in Visual Arts with a concentration in Computer Animation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Travis currently works as Production Manager and Lead Painter at Composite Effects in Baton Rouge, where he has also been involved with 3D conceptual work and digital animation projects. He has also taught Computer Animation at ITT Technical Institute.
Dan Lawton is president and founder of Apex Creative, a digital media company specializing in search engine optimization, content marketing and web analytics. Dan has lectured on new media in the journalism department of the University of Oregon, and has taught blogging and social media to middle school and high school students. He is also a a freelance journalist and has had his work published in The Times-Picayune, The Advocate, The Oregonian and The Christian Science Monitor.
Regan Norton is an Adobe Certified Instructor who has four years of teaching experience in addition to nine years of experience as a graphic designer for the web, video, and print industries. She has trained employees for such organizations as the U.S. Border Patrol, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and Hewlett-Packard. Regan has also worked with clientele such as Voodoo Music Experience, Network of Sacred Heart Schools, and the Gulf Coast Patent Association. Regan earned her B.F.A. from Louisiana State University in Graphic Design, Film, Media Studies and Art History.
David Reich is co-founder and CEO of SixEstate, a content marketing and SEO company powered by professional journalists and editors. A graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, David blends a background in traditional marketing and public relations with more than five years of experience managing hundreds of online marketing campaigns for all kinds of organizations, from small businesses and nonprofits to public companies.
Sheila Walker is a software engineer and consultant with more than 12 years of experience providing technical direction, training, and business applications for a Fortune 500 company. She also taught computer and programming courses at University of Phoenix for five years. Sheila earned her Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems.
David S. White
David S. White, a former Assistant Director for film, now works as an accomplished cinematographer/camera operator/assistant camera with more than six years of experience shooting live performances, music videos, commercials, television shows, and films. He has also served as Director of Photography for both TV and film.
George "Loki" Williams
George "Loki" Williams is the owner of SocialGumbo, LLC, an online consultancy specializing in Web content, community management and social media. Loki has produced content for clients including the Open Society Institute, National Association of Broadcasters, and Kaiser Permanente. He is one of the organizers of the Rising Tide Conference in New Orleans, and his work has been seen or written about in The New York Times, The BBC, Air America, and NOLA.com, among others.
