Leveling Up opens Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in the Timothy K. Baker Theatre. The production will run one week only: Wednesday, November 20th through Sunday, November 24th. The curtain times for Wednesday-Saturday performances are at 8:00 p.m., and the Sunday matinee on November 4th is at 3:00 p.m. (closing performance).

Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for DCC students, faculty, staff, and senior citizens, $8 for all area high school students with student group rates available. Thursday, November 21st is Delgado appreciation night when all tickets for DCC students, faculty, and staff are only $8.

Synopsis:

Three twenty-something roommates, glued to their video games, struggle to balance their virtual worlds with the real world, especially when one of them lands a job with the National Security Agency launching actual drones and missiles, prompting online battles to have real consequences.

The production staff includes Costume design by Shelby Lynn Marie Butera, Scene design by James Means, Lighting and Sound design by Tom Dawson.

Leveling Up is written by Deborah Zoe Laufer and directed by guest director, Kristin Shoffner. The play will be performed by students from Delgado’s Theatre Program.
