Donate to the Hurricane Katrina Fund

Dear Friends of Delgado Community College,

As a response to many of your inquiries and requests, the Delgado Community College Foundation has established two funds to accept donations for Katrina Relief assistance.

Katrina Victims Student Relief Fund

Many of our students suffered tremendous losses as a result of Hurricane Katrina. In order to provide them with assistance, we have organized a relief fund to help our students during the aftermath of this tragedy. We are extremely grateful for your tax-deductible donations which will be used to cover the cost of books, supplies, transportation, and child care.

Delgado Recovery Fund

This fund will be used specifically for the rebuilding of the college facilities that were damaged as a result of Hurricane Katrina.  Your tax-deductible donation will be matched with FEMA funds, enhancing your gift toward the disaster recovery efforts for the oldest and largest community college in the state.
