Delgado Northshore - Slidell was established as part of Delgado Community College's ongoing commitment to serve the greater New Orleans area. A number of courses, mainly Arts & Sciences and Business courses and a number of non-credit courses, are available for people who live or work on the Northshore. The facility is conveniently located just off Interstate 10 on Howze Beach Road and offers an array of resources and learning facilities.

Delgado Northshore - Slidell includes a library with books, periodicals, multi-media resources and computer/Internet access for all registered students. There is also an English and math tutoring lab and a computer lab.

Students who enroll at Delgado Northshore - Slidell have reciprocal use privileges for resources and facilities at the City Park and West Bank campuses. For example, a student taking classes in Slidell may participate in intramural sports or join student organizations that meet in New Orleans.

Courses include Allied Health programs, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, and Horticulture, as well as basic education courses in English, Mathematics and Computer Literacy. Non-credit courses are also available.
