|01-22-14||At about 10:00am||Domestic Battery||A known student was arrested for domestic battery on another student. The incident occurred in the parking lot near the Student Life Center. The arrested subject was turned over to the NOPD for processing on state charges.|
|04-16-13||At about 3am||Arson||At about 3am, on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, the replacement stage located on the City Park Campus between building 10 and 23 was intentionally set on fire. The fire caused minimum damage to the stage and self extinguished. The damage to the stage was not discovered until about 10:00am, on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. The crime scene is being processed by an independent fire investigator.|
|04-07-13||At about 3am||Fire||At about 3am, on Sunday, April 7, 2013, the New Orleans Fire Department responded to a fire on the City Park Campus. The stage located between buildings 23 and 10 was discovered to be engulfed by fire. The fire department quickly extinguished the fire which had caused significant damage to the stage. The preliminary cause of the fire is unknown however it is being investigated by an independent fire investigator.|

ARMED ROBBERY IN LAKEVIEW ON WEDNESDAY, 02/20/2013, AT ABOUT 8:30PM, IN THE 900 BLOCK OF NAVARRE, A DELGADO STUDENT WAS ROBBED AND HIS VEHICLE CARJACKED. THE PERPETRATOR WAS DESCRIBED AS A BLACK MALE ABOUT 6 FOOT TALL, 200 POUNDS, ARMED WITH A SILVER 9MM SEMIAUTOMATIC HANDGUN, WEARING A DARK HOODED JACKET, DARK PANTS AND BLACK TENNIS SHOES. THE SUBJECT WAS UNSHAVEN AND HAD A MUSCULAR BUILD. THE VICTIM’S VEHICLE IS DESCRIBED A 2004 GOLD TOYOTA HIGHLANDER BEARING LOUISIANA LICENSE VSC064. THE SUBJECT FLED IN THE VICTIM’S VEHICLE SOUTH ON ORLEANS TO CITY PARK, THEN WEST TOWARD THE INTERSTATE.
ALSO, THE AREA HAS HAD AN UPSWING IN CAR BURGLARIES AND CAR THEFTS IN LAKEVIEW. PLEASE, LOCK YOUR CARS AND REMOVE YOUR PROPERTY FROM YOUR VEHICLES.
|12-19-12||unknown||Theft||Sometime between December 14th and December 19, 2012, over three thousand dollars of steel bars was stolen from the East Jefferson Technical Learning Center. The investigation is being conducted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.|
|4-30-12||6:33pm||stolen motor scooter||
On Monday, April 30, 2012, about 6:45pm, a known faculty member reported to campus police that his keys and white Honda motor scooter were missing from the parking lot adjacent to building one on the City Park Campus. It is believed that victim forgot his keys in or on the scooter when he retrieved several items from the scooter earlier in the evening.
Video surveillance revealed that at about 6:33pm, a 20-30 year old black male, approximately 6 foot tall, 200 lbs., with a full beard, wearing blue jeans, baseball cap and white t-shirt drove off campus on the victim's scooter.
An anonymous tip lead to the recovery of the motor scooter on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at about 9:30pm, in an Algiers neighborhood.
Anyone with information regarding this theft is urged to contact campus police at 671-6112, this is an on-going investigation.
|3-22-12||6:20pm||lost or stolen license plate||On Thursday, March 22, 2012, the victim reported parking her vehicle on the City Park Campus at about 5pm. When she returned to her vehicle at about 7:45pm, she noticed that her vehicle's Louisiana license plate SMG335 was not attached to the vehicle. The license plate has been reported to the NOPD as lost or stolen.|
|3-14-12||11:00am||auto burglary||The victim reported returning to his vehicle to discover that his in dash stereo system, speakers and amplifier had been stolen. The victim reported securing his vehicle and arming its burglar alarm after parking on campus. When he returned There was no signs of forced entry into the vehicle, however the perpetrator(s) forcibly removed the anti theft club device from the steering column bending the steering wheel. The rear seat was lowered to gain access to the speakers and amplifier which were then removed.|
|3-13-12||6:30pm||auto burglary||The victim parked and secured his vehicle in one of the campus parking lots at about 5:30pm. When he returned at about 6:40pm, he discovered that his vehicle had been burglarized. The in dash stereo had been forcibly removed from the dashboard. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle and no witnesses were located.|
