Erin Landry Recognized for Leadership in Adult Education

The WorkReady U Exceptional and Innovative Leadership Award has been presented to Erin Landry of Delgado Community College. 

Since assuming a leadership role in 2009, Landry has worked diligently to grow the adult education program from four sites serving 1,329 students with 11 staff members to leading the largest adult education program in the state serving 6,775 students in 2017-18, with over 50 staff members at six sites and three partner sites.

Landry previously served as past president and board member of LAPCAE, the Louisiana Association of Public, Community and Adult Education.  Currently, she serves as the adult education representative on two local workforce development boards in the New Orleans area as well as serving on the WorkReady U Executive Council.  She has been an integral part in the development of an online adult learning program which has helped to increase enrollment across the state of Louisiana.
