The Delgado Community College Theatre Program is partnering with the NOLA Project to present “A Few Good Men”by Aaron Sorkin.
The classic military courtroom drama has received critical and far-reaching acclaim on stages across the country, as well as the silver screen, making its author a household name.
“This well-known title, with its dynamic, resonant story, characters and widespread pull aligns with our mission to challenge, entertain and engage diverse New Orleans audiences,” said NOLA Project Artistic Director A.J. Allegra.
“This is a co-production with the locally and nationally acclaimed theatre company the NOLA Project. We’re very excited to engage in this partnership,” said Delgado Theatre Program Director Michael Santos.
The production will be performed in the Timothy K. Baker Theatre on the Delgado City Park Campus.
Jason Kirkpatrick will direct a cast that includes NOLA Project company members, Delgado faculty and students, and local favorites: Matthew Eli Judd, Timothy Francois, Andrew Larimer, A.J. Allegra, Cecile Monteyne, Beau Bratcher, James Yeargain, Jimmeraz Johnson, Michael Santos, Patrick Sylvester, Keith Claverie, Tyler Addison Brantmeyer, Donald Lewis, Kris LaMorte, Lance Benezech, Erron Holland and Michael Leclaire.
The play opens Thursday, January 26, at the Timothy K. Baker Theatre, 615 City Park Ave., Building 1, 1st floor. The production will run through Saturday, February 11. Evening performances are at 8 p.m. A matinee on Sunday, January 29, is at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $30-35, available online at www.nolaproject.com. There is a 20% discount for all active and veteran members of the United States military.
Tickets for Delgado faculty, staff and students with ID are $10. Delgado Theatre season tickets will be honored.
