DELGADO GROWTHWORKS HOLDS PLANT SALE OCT. 22-23 AT CITY PARK CAMPUS
The Delgado Community College Horticulture program’s departmental club, GrowthWorks, invites the public to a fall plant sale Oct. 22-23, 2009, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Delgado City Park Campus’ Horticulture Greenhouse (located on Orleans Avenue between City Park and Navarre Avenues).
A broad array of plants – from house plants to garden plants, and various herbs to hanging basket arrangements – grown as part of Delgado’s Horticulture program will be on sale at great discounts. Prices range from $1 – 15, and all proceeds will fund Horticulture program stipends. As a special bonus, GrowthWorks will also be giving away free plants with every purchase while supplies last, so come early to take advantage of the free gift!
