With an associate
degree from Delgado
Community College,
you can enter the
workforce in the
field of your choice
and earn 40 to 60
percent more income
than if you only had
a high school
diploma. Many of our
degree programs take
approximately two
years to complete.
In addition to
receiving an
associate degree,
you have the option
to transfer your
credits to a
four-year university
to pursue a
baccalaureate
degree; Delgado has
matriculation
agreements with most
colleges and
universities in this
region, including
but not exclusive to
LSU, SLU, Dillard,
Xavier, Tulane,
Loyola, and Southern
University.
Liberal Arts offers
a wide range of
options. If you are
interested in visual
or performing arts,
language,
humanities, criminal
justice, or others
Delgado is the place
for you to pursue
your goal. Many of
our students choose
a general studies
degree, which
provides the
foundation for
further studies and
the confidence to
pursue a number of
career paths. We
invite you to take a
