Delgado Community College has partnered with BankMobile to deliver refunds to students based on the student’s refund selection preference.  Upon your first semester/session of enrollment, you will receive a Refund Selection Kit from BankMobile. This Refund Selection Kit will arrive in a bright green envelope through the mail at your primary address on file.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t think I will receive Financial Aid and I self-pay. Why should I select a refund preference?

Even if you do not think you will be getting a refund from Delgado, you never know what may occur.  It may be necessary for you to drop a class, a class may be cancelled, or you may receive an unanticipated scholarship or award.  Choosing your refund selection as soon as you receive your Refund Selection Kit will assure the timely delivery of your funds.  Remember, Delgado does not issue refund checks, so it is important that you make a choice for the delivery of your refunds.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds begin 14 days after the semester/session’s census date. The Census date is the official 14th class day for the Spring & Fall Semesters and the 7th class day for the Summer Session. After the above dates, once your account shows a credit balance, you can expect to receive your refund approximately 14 days from the date the credit posted.

What do I do if I didn't receive a Refund Selection Kit?

After the Census date (official 14th class day for the Spring & Fall Semesters and the 7th class day for the Summer Session), if you have not received a Refund Selection Kit, please first verify your mailing address on LoLA then visit the Bursar’s office on the campus or site nearest to you to request a replacement code.
