Professional Licensure and Certification Exams

Delgado Community College’s Office of Advising and Testing offers a limited schedule of proctoring for certification exams for students, faculty, and community members.  The Testing Center administers exams through the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors.

Which Delgado locations offer these exams?

Professional Licensure and Certification exams are only offered on the City Park Campus.

How do I sign up and what is the cost?

Exam costs vary depending on the type of license or certification being sought.  Potential examinees should contact the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors directly for more information.

No personal items, including but not limited to, mobile phones, hand-held computers/personal digital assistants (PDAs) or other electronic devices, pagers, smart watches, purses, firearms or other weapons, hats (and other non-religious head coverings), bags, books, and/or notes are allowed in the testing rooms. You must store all personal items in a secure area as indicated by the Testing Center staff or return them to your vehicle. If you refuse to store your personal items, you will be unable to test. Please bring appropriate forms of identification for the test you are taking.
