Student Support Services Ambassadors

In an effort to encourage and promote personal and professional growth, the Student Support Services (SSS) program created an organization for its participants at Delgado Community College. The Student Support Services Ambassadors are active participants in the SSS program who accumulate community service hours each semester. Ambassadors serve as peer mentors to other participants in the SSS program, provide educational guidance to program participants, represent SSS program at school-sponsored activities, organize fundraising events, participate in the annual breast cancer walk, and attend monthly meetings with program advisors. We have three executive board positions:  president, vice-president, and treasurer (who also serves as the secretary for the board).
