The purpose of The Art club is to promote an appreciation of the arts, to bring students together with an interest in arts, to promote the work of student artists and Faculty, to promote art and art activities in the college and Community, and to promote art education on the Northshore.

Biology Club

Delgado Dolphin Newspaper

The Dolphin is the student newspaper of Delgado Community College. Students are encouraged to apply for positions such as reporters, writers, photographers, and editors. Students do not have to be Journalism majors, but a strong interest in Journalism is encouraged.

Delgado Theater Club

The Theater Club is for anyone interested in drama, comedy, musicals, acting, dance, costumes, backstage set design, and lighting work. The club produces plays on campus and promotes field trips to other theater groups. Membership is open to all students in all majors.

Grammy U, Delgado Chapter

GRAMMY U Network is a unique and fast-growing community of college students who are pursuing a career in the recording industry. The Recording Academy created GRAMMY U to help prepare college students for their careers in the music industry through networking, educational programs and performance opportunities. GRAMMY U is designed to enhance students' current academic curriculum with access to recording industry professionals to give an "out of classroom" perspective on the recording industry.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)

This student organization places emphasis on the learning and well-being of the individual Muslim student, as well as networking and growth of the chapter through sponsored activities.

Sociology Club of Delgado Community College

They promote and foster the development of the understanding of sociology through the discussion, analysis and dissemination of information to advance students' awareness of sociological issues. This is accomplished through public speakers, presentations, debates, editorials, and interactive functions.

Student Government Association 

SGA promotes the idea of self-governance and represents students' opinions to College committees, Administration, Faculty, and Staff. They also sponsor vital co-curricular activities to enhance individual student development, promote desired social interaction, and provide recreational activities for the students. Members of the SGA are elected by students.
