AIGA Delgado (American Institute of Graphics Arts)
Designed to promote excellence in all aspects of Visual Communications and foster lifelong professional development among its members with AIGA and its New Orleans and national affiliates.

Art Club
The purpose of The Art club is to promote an appreciation of the arts, to bring students together with an interest in arts, to promote the work of student artists and Faculty, to promote art and art activities in the college and Community, and to promote art education on the Northshore.

Charity Association of Student Nurses (CASN)
This organization aids in preparing students to assume their professional responsibilities upon graduation. Students enrolled in the associate degree program are eligible to become member of this organization and by so doing, become members of their state and national student associations. Active participation in the association provides the opportunity for professional, educational, and social activities.

Construction Specification Institute
Promotes awareness of the construction industry and jobs available to our students through co-op and apprenticeship programs.

Culinary Club
Delgado students majoring in Culinary Arts may become junior members of the New Orleans chapter of the American Culinary Federation, a national professional organization for cooks and chefs.

Delgado Architecture Student Organization
Architecture students work together to promote their profession, participate in architecturally-related activities in the community, and support each other academically and socially.

Delgado Education Association
This organization benefits the students in the Education/Early Childhood Education program and Allied Health programs on all Delgado Community College campuses. Membership is open to students who are interested in Education.

Delgado Paramedic Association
Membership is to open to any student who has been accepted and /or currently enrolled in the Association Degree Program for EMT-Paramedic. The purpose of the association is to begin lifelong professional development and growth among its organizations, and to educate the public on the extended role of the Emergency Medical Technician in the community.

Delgado Student Dietetic Association
Membership is open to any declared dietetics major and the purpose of the club is to maintain high academic standards among its members. We also promote the exchange of information and create opportunities for students to interact with professionals involved in the New Orleans Dietetic Association, Louisiana Dietetic Association, and the American Dietetic Association.

Growthworks Horticulture Club
Growthworks objective is to encourage work in horticulture, and to foster environmental stewardship. The organization promotes personal and professional growth through horticultural experience. Membership is open to current students, faculty and staff.

Delgado Design Association
This organization studies the interior decor of office buildings, hotels, houses, and other architectural elements. They also establish contacts in the community and offers academic and professional support to students.

American Assembly of Men in Nursing (AAMN)
Men in Nursing is an organization designed to provide camaraderie and unity among male students through their participation in community projects and extracurricular activities. As a chartered school organization, MIN addresses the needs of male students through organizational representation. It is an organization designed to help in professional growth.

Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association (MEISA)
MEISA is open to students in the music and business departments on any Delgado Community College campus or learning center.

National Association of Homebuilders (Student Chapter)
Works with the New Orleans Homebuilder's Association to help establish jobs within the architectural, construction and technology curriculum at Delgado. Develops job networks, tutors students and invites professional speakers in the architectural and construction fields to speak on campus.

The National Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses, Inc. (NFLPN)
This is the professional organization for licensed practical nurses and licensed vocational nurses and practical/ vocational nursing students in the United States. Membership is based on a three-tier concept of local, state and national enrollment. It consists of licensed practical nurses. In September, 1991, a new category of affiliate membership was established to allow those who have an interest in the work of NFLPN but who are neither LPN's nor PN students to join. Affiliate members receive all communications and may attend all NFLPN meetings but do not have the right to vote or hold office. NFLPN has members in every state in the United States.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
This organization works with local industry in the New Orleans area to establish co-op jobs for students in the engineering field. The club also invites professional speakers to campus, and provides tutoring services for engineering students. This club includes The Society of Professional Engineering Technology Students.

Veterinarian Technology Technician Organization (VETT)
The purpose of this organization is to offer support and resources to students transitioning to the limited admission program as well as those students currently admitted to VETT.
