Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery
Mission and Statement of Purpose
The Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery serves as a venue for facilitating educational inquiry of the Visual Arts not only for the students of Delgado Community College, but the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan community. The unique exhibition space highlights the art of students and faculty, local, regional, and international artists with the purpose of expanding the dialogue and one’s experience of the visual arts.
About the Gallery
The Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery is located in an historical portion of the Delgado City Park Campus, on the third floor of Building 1. In addition to hosting professional and emerging artist exhibitions, the Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery hosts some exhibits annually. The gallery actively participates in Black History Month programming every February. Exhibitions for the Visual Arts students are held every Spring. An exhibit showcasing the work of Visual Arts faculty is held bi-annually, during the Fall semester.
