Request a Virtual or In Person Visit to Your Classroom
Need a coach to walk your students through what the Writing Center offers and how we offer coaching online and online submissions? With a one-week notice, we’ll do that, and we’ll even explain how they benefit from coaching. Please submit a request below and we will contact you to confirm.
Schedule a Writing Center Tour with a Twist
It's more than just a tour. Your students will meet with the coaches on duty who will answer their questions and concerns about using a writing coach. The format is relaxed and friendly and is the most effective way we know to get your students to attend the Writing Center. Students can even book their next appointments while there. This service is currently only available at City Park but will be available at the West Bank campus when we move from our temporary quarters to the new West Bank Writing Center in Spring 2022.
Referrals
Need help getting an “at risk” student to seek Writing Center support? You may submit a referral form (one form per student) for each student you’ve identified as being at risk of failure due to writing assignment issues. The WC front desk will contact the student, usually within 24 hours, to set up a coaching session. Please note that all students must be aware that you are referring them, so you will be required to notify them by checking the appropriate box on the referral form.
Assignments
When you post a new writing assignment for your students, please submit it here as well. This will give our coaches an opportunity to become familiar with the assignment before sessions with your students. All coaches, whether remote or on the campuses, will have access to all submitted writing assignments via the WC SharePoint page.
Custom Report Request
Need a report on all your students’ WC attendance? Need a report on a particular student’s WC attendance? Or attendance for a certain time period? Submit a request below, and we’ll do our best to respond to your custom report request within 24 hours."
Request a Workshop When You Want One
Need a coach to present a workshop when you can’t be there for class? Give us a two-week notice, and we’ll try to make that happen. Please submit a request below and we will contact you to confirm.
