Campus Use of OIT Training Lab

The OIT Training Lab is available on a limited basis to Delgado faculty and staff for training activities in which OIT is not directly involved. The seating capacity is 24. The lab is available for reservations:

  • August - May (between the hours of 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday)
  • June - July (between the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Thursday)

Reservations

Reserve the OIT Training Lab through ServiceNow. Log in using your LoLA (Delgado’s online student portal) username and password. Indicate the below information on all reservation requests:

  • Training facilitator/contact information
  • Training day/time
  • Training subject
  • Number of training participants
  • Provide a brief description of media needed
  • Special software requirements

Lab Image

The computers in the OIT Training Lab contain Microsoft Office 2016 and the Windows 10 operating system.

Special Configurations

If special computer configurations are needed for your training (i.e. installing new software), this must be indicated on the OIT Training Lab reservation form at least 2 weeks in advance. You are responsible for ensuring that the computers are configured to meet your needs and have been tested in advance of the training.

Course Materials

You are responsible for providing course materials for your training participants.

Audiovisual Equipment

The OIT Training Lab contains a multimedia podium which controls the teleconferencing system, computer, projector and screen. Please be sure to power off the equipment before leaving the room.

Cancellations

Cancel a lab reservation through ServiceNow. Log in using your LoLA (Delgado’s online student portal) username and password. Please submit cancellations in advance of your scheduled event so that the lab can be made available for others.  

Food and Drink

Food and drink are prohibited in the OIT Training Lab.
