Polysomnographic (Sleep) Technology Open House

Come learn about the exciting field of sleep technology and sleep disorders. Our faculty will discuss the associate degree program that can lead you to a future career in sleep technology. You will get to experience being in a sleep laboratory and learn about diagnosing sleep disorders.

NEW CLASS BEGINS SPRING 2022 SEMESTER

PROGRAM TRAINING

  • Perform and assess sleep studies; document normal and abnormal activity
  • Generally work at night (some daytime opportunities)
  • Collect sleep data for physician review and patient diagnosis
  • Average salary range across the U.S. is from $51,826 - $64,030
  • Job growth at 14% for medical and clinical lab technicians (2016 - 2026)

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED, pre-requisite courses, and 2.0 GPA required
• Students must be able to study, attend class, and perform sleep diagnostic procedures with patients at night
