Ochsner Flight Care Team Lands at the Delgado City Park Campus

The Flight Team from Ochsner Flight Care landed at the Delgado City Park Campus on Thursday to meet with Respiratory Therapy students and faculty. The Flight Team includes highly skilled, specially trained nurses and respiratory therapists.

Ochsner Flight Care provides transport services for critically ill neonatal, pediatric and adult patients. The transports are conducted primarily by helicopter with an immediate response radius of 275 miles from Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Delgado’s students saw first-hand just how high their careers might go. Rene Randall is the program director for Respiratory Therapy and was present to greet the visitors, who included Delgado alumnus Vinh Nguyen, second from right in the group photo below. Nguyen is an active supporter of the Delgado Respiratory Therapy program.
